This piece holds a huge significance to me. It was the last painting I ever painted of Bhoomi, my dog and me before he passed. I had hung it in the shop, ready to be sold, but after a few hours of looking at it I realised that this was going to be one of the ones I just couldn't bare to sell. It felt too precious and too personal, and I feel like this one will stay hung up in my studio as a constant reminder of the magic it is that I can feel so incredibly nostalgic and thankful for a time in my life thanks to something I've painted.
